My style is warm, relaxed and very much 'go with the flow'. I love letting a session unfold naturally rather than trying to force every moment into a plan. Kids can run, explore, cuddle, be shy, be wild or have a little meltdown - it’s all part of real family life, and I’m here for all of it.I’ll gently guide you when you need it, but mostly I want you to forget about the camera and simply enjoy being together. No pressure for perfect smiles, stiff poses or perfectly behaved little ones. I’m drawn to the in-between moments, the wind in their hair, bare feet, cheeky grins, big cuddles and all the little bits of beautiful chaos that make your family yours.Every session is different, and that’s exactly how it should be.

Where sessions take place

Sessions can take place in my warm and welcoming studio in Arthurton, beautifully styled with soft neutral tones, natural textures and a cosy, relaxed feel. It’s a calm and comfortable space designed to create timeless, natural images while making you feel completely at ease.

For those who love the outdoors, open spaces and chasing golden light, I also offer country and farm style sessions on my property, with the option to include some of our friendly farm animals for an extra touch of country charm. I can also travel to a location of your choice, and in-home newborn sessions are available for families who would love to capture those early days in the comfort of their own home.

The best time to book

For newborn sessions, I recommend booking anytime from around 12 weeks of pregnancy onwards. Your booking is secured around your due date, which means you’re guaranteed a place in my calendar whether your little one decides to arrive early, right on time, or keeps you waiting a little longer. I only take on a certain number of newborns around each due date so I can allow plenty of flexibility for every baby’s arrival.For all other sessions, you’re welcome to book weeks or even months in advance, especially if you have a particular date or time of year in mind. I’ll always do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings too.

Studio newborn sessions

Studio newborn sessions are ideally held within the first three weeks after birth, with around 6–12 days old being the sweetest spot. That said, every baby and every journey is different. If your little one arrived early, spent some time in hospital, or you’ve simply been soaking up those newborn days and lost track of time, please still reach out. Beautiful newborn sessions can absolutely be photographed beyond those first few weeks, particularly for babies who were born prematurely.I recommend booking your newborn session anytime from your second trimester onwards. I only take on a limited number of due dates each month so I can allow plenty of flexibility around each baby’s arrival and make sure every family who has booked has a place in my calendar. Last-minute enquiries are always welcome too, and I’ll do my best to fit you in where I can.To secure your booking while you’re pregnant, you’ll simply complete the booking form and pay your retainer. Your place is then held for you whether baby decides to arrive early, late or right on time. Once your little one is here, just get in touch when you’re able and we’ll arrange the perfect date for your session.Newborn sessions generally take around 1.5 hours, although I allow up to two hours so there is plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling along the way. There’s never any rush — we simply follow your baby’s lead.

Payments & payment plans

A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking, with this amount deducted from your total session fee.The remaining balance can be paid anytime in the week leading up to your session, up until the day before if paying via bank transfer. Cash payments are also welcome on the day of your session.Afterpay is also available for those who prefer to split their payments, subject to terms and conditions.

Your session package includes my time and experience during your session, along with the careful editing and finishing of your chosen images. After your session, you’ll receive a private online proof gallery where you can view your images and select the favourites included in your package. If you fall in love with a few extras, additional images can also be purchased separately. Studio sessions include the use of my carefully selected props, wraps and styling pieces to create a beautiful setup that suits my warm, neutral style. Your final images are professionally retouched and supplied in high resolution through a password-protected online gallery, ready for you to download, print and enjoy as many times as you like. Final galleries are generally delivered within two weeks of your image selections being submitted.

Please note that RAW or unedited images are not provided, as the editing process is an important part of creating the finished style you see throughout my work.

Question 6

Rescheduling & cancellations

I completely understand that life happens and sometimes plans need to change. However, when you book a session, that date and time is held especially for you and I may not be able to refill the spot at short notice.If you choose to cancel your session, your $100 retainer will be forfeited.If you need to reschedule, your retainer may be transferred to a new date, however this will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on notice given, availability and how busy my calendar is at the time. In some circumstances, a new retainer may be required to secure your new booking.
